Re: Wanted to ask again...
I am in the Birmingham area and very interested in helping start a group here. I realize your post was a couple of years ago, but if you are still on here, let me know.

Re: Wanted to ask again...
My son is home now! He came home New Years Day, so it has been crazy busy in my house, but also so wonderful to be out of the NICU.
I would love to see if we could get a Promise Walk together...certainly Birmingham is big enough. Not really sure how to approach doing something like that, but I will try to look into it.

Re: Wanted to ask again...
I'm sorry I just now saw your post!
I hope your little one is well and getting closer to going home with you. I didn't know anything about this disorder either, and now I feel like I need to tell every pregnant lady I see to watch her BP.
It looks like we're the only AL ladies around, but Bham is so big that maybe we could get a Promise Walk together next year sometime. Stay in touch!

Re: Wanted to ask again...
Hi! I am in the Tuscaloosa area and I gave birth to my son last week at 31 weeks 6 days due to HELLP syndrome. With my baby in the NICU, I find most of my time being spent there and getting things ready for his coming home, but I am very interested in being as active as possible to raise awareness. I had no idea what was happening to me when I was in the hospital, and I feel like I would have coped with my situation better had I been more informed.
Wanted to ask again...
if there are any north or central Alabama on here that would want to start a chapter or get together for awareness booths?
I asked about Bama ladies about a year ago, maybe, and didn't get much response. Just checking again!
