Jen,
I'm also happy to help you put this together, remotely, as I don't live in Ohio. We have some PF materials we can provide you with for handouts at the fair.
You can reach me at: Kara.Boeldt@preeclampsia.org

Re : Current Volunteers in the Akron area??
Jen - this sounds like a great idea! If you think you'll be running into any expenses associated with this or would like any Preeclampsia Foundation materials, check out our recently launched Education and Awareness Grants Program -- http://www.preeclampsia.org/pdf/eagg.pdf.
I'm also emailing you with a few other ideas.

Current Volunteers in the Akron area??
Hello!
I am interested in helping with a booth for the 2009 Healthy Baby Fair & Family Expo at the John S. Knight Center in Akron on Saturday, October 3, 2009. It is coordinated by the Akron Health Department, and is free admission. Anyone interested in hosting it with me?
I am a preeclampsia survivor from my 2nd pregnancy. I hadn't hardly heard about preeclampsia until I was diagnosed at 36 weeks. Wish someone had warned me about it sooner. I am lucky that my son & I are fine... my BP plummeted while on the operating table during my the cesarean section.
Please reply if you are available, even for a couple hours. The entire fair is from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.
Thank you!
