We made it! 32 weeks!
Well, I guess I got my wish. As far as goals for this pregnancy, I had hoped we'd make it to 30 weeks, but really wanted to make it to 32. I also hoped we'd not have the issues with growth restriction, low fluid, etc that we started seeing last time at 20 weeks. And here we are. I'm 32 weeks TODAY, with no growth restriction, lots of beautiful fluid, and no baby or maternal look-ats whatsoever (pending my next appointment of course). I got to get the nursery ready (bedrest & early delivery stood in the way of that last time). I actually look pregnant. I can SEE her kicking. I'm gloriously uncomfortable, am getting to where I can't tie my own shoes, but yet I feel fine/healthy. It's almost surreal, like an actual NORMAL pregnancy.
We've scheduled my delivery for June 5th, only 7 weeks away! I'm hopeful that we'll make it there, but it feels so good to be where we are.
Funny story - my husband was opening the door for me at dinner and quickly went to grab the other double door saying "oh, I guess you need this one too." We both laugh cuz we love it that I'm huge and seriously, it's comforting to see me continually growing. But I guess this lady overheard him and she GLARED at him like he was the most evil husband ever! Oh well, you guys understand.
