Grayson & Necrotizing Enterocolitis. A story of love, loss & hope

During my pregnancy with my son Grayson, I became very ill. At 34 weeks I was rushed to the hospital for an emergency c-section. The doctor told me I had pre eclampsia as a response to my son's growth restriction. He told me I would have been dead within 48 hours had they not delivered my son. Grayson was born only 2 lbs 14 oz, when he was 7 days old he passed away from Necrotizing Enterocolitis. Here is our story of love, loss, hope, and a very special NICU nurse.

Hi Laurel, I watched your video and literally bawled my eyes out. I am sorry about the loss of your son Grayson, he was absolutely beautiful and reminded me a lot of my son Camden. He was born over a month ago but he only lived for 12 days in the NICU and was 2 lbs 1oz at birth. His loss is new and still devastating to us. The fears and feelings that you experience in the NICU is unlike any other you will probably experience ever. I am happy you also got your son, Blake. He is absolutely gorgeous. Again, thank you for making this video. It truly touched my heart and showed me there is hope out there, somewhere.
