HELLP Syndrome at 18.

Hi my name is Mayra Tarazon. I am from a very small town Cottonwood, AZ and I got hellp syndrome when I was 18 years old. I had had my doctor's visit and my blood pressure was a little high, but my doctor had told me I would be fine and sent me home. During the day I started feeling worse and worse and finally at midnight I went to the hospital. When I got to the hospital my blood pressure was through the roof and my doctor told me the baby had to come naturally or with c-section but had to come out. So he induced me and broke my water and 4 hours later I gave birth to my son. I had a very easy labor and everything was fine and perfect. My son was a 6 pound healthy baby. After the delivery is when all the complications came and I lost a lot of blood, white blood cells and my blood pressure could not be controlled. I was at a very small hospital and my doctor didn't even know what to do with me or what was going on. He wanted to fly me to Phoenix Arizona. The days passed and I would just get worse couldn't even go to the bathroom. They had me on complete bed rest. My son got discharged the next day and went home. My doctor would come in and would tell me "I dont know what to do with you kiddo." Finally on the 4th day he told me I had gotten hellp sydrome nurses there that had been in the hospital for 15 years would tell me in there 15 years they have never seen a case like mine. I was 18 and my doctor was so scared of what happened to me that he told me no more kids for me, and when I turned 21 he burnt, cut, and clipped my tubes. This makes me so sad and it depresses me in not being able to have anymore kids.  Having hellp syndrome almost took my life and doctors didn't even know what to do.
