Very Ill During Pregnancy

In December 2016, I was 6 months pregnant with my 2 baby and had to get my gallbladder removed. I could no longer eat and was losing weight.

After that surgery, I experienced the worst pain in my upper right chest. I was hospitalized about 3 times for the pain. Finally, a real doctor showed up (I was at a teaching hospital and none of the residents could do anything aside from order Tylenol) she asked me to try lidocaine patches. I was so desperate, I would’ve tried anything.

Well, I managed to make it full term and showed up in the hospital with severe pre-eclampsia and was put on magnesium sulfate. The baby went transverse breech after my water broke, so I ended up with a c-section. His head never engaged. I was sent home with a nurse who called every night to get my BP, but it took 10 weeks to come down, but never did all the way and I’m now on BP medication.

It took me 9 months to get the medication prescribed as my doctor kept wanting to see if it would return to normal. I was never sent to a specialist. I would like some information about my condition and whether my BP will ever be normal again.
