After a seemingly “healthy” pregnancy in 2025, I went on to have 3 eclamptic seizures at 37 weeks gestation. The first one started at home which prompted my husband to act quick. I was intubated for an emergency C-section, spent some time in the ICU, and almost a week hospital stay. Hubby saved mine and our son’s life. In 2026 I went into preterm labor and delivered a healthy baby girl after suffering from severe preeclampsia at 36 weeks gestation. This condition is very real and very scary. It’s important to stay informed so that you can advocate for yourself.
