Loss at 23 weeks due to severe pre-e, no MFM referral

I had severe pre-e in my previous pregnancy in 2009.   My daughter was born at 28 weeks at 1 lb and 4oz. I did not develop HELLP syndrome but just got high blood pressure, swelling, and protein in the urine.  Since my liver enzymes and kidneys fuctions were decreasing I got an emergency C-section.  Today my daughter is 5 years old and very healthy.

Due to the conditions with my daughter, I waited to conceive again.  In Sept 2013, I was told that I was pregnant.  I asked my OB/GYN (who was my OB with my first daughter) about any new precautions/procedures I should do for this second round.  He told me no.  In week 22, I went to the hospital with upper back pain.  Long story short, I was told that I was pre-eclamptic and of course the only solution is to terminate.  I was in the hospital for an additional week but due to head pressure headaches they encouraged me to terminate even though my other labs were stable and but my bp fluctuated.  During my initial trip to labor and delivery for my upper back pain, the MFM doc stated that I could of had the test for APS and given baby aspirin (not saying that my outcomes would of been drastically different, but who knows!).  I am devastated that I was not given all the information during my initial consult with my OB/GYN.  I did not know about MFM and if I did believe me I would of been there in a hurry.  I just did not understand why my OB/GYN did not refer me to MFM when HE KNEW my history of severe pre-e in the first pregnancy???????  It's only been a little over a month since I lost my daughter and as many of you know this is so hard to comprehend.

At my 6 week check up, my MFM told me that I have a 100% chance of re-occurring pre-e.  Which I already figured at this point.  He did run the test for APS on me and some other bloodwork.   I am just waiting for the results.  If I could just delay the onset of pre-e that would be hopeful because I know LDA, heparin, and lovenox do not prevent this disease.  Keeping all moms in prayer and thoughts......
