January 10, 2022 – Melbourne, FL – The Preeclampsia Foundation welcomed a new group of officers to their 2022 Board of Directors today. Dr. Rakhi Dimino, MD, MMM, CPE, will serve as the new Board Chair, formerly serving as Vice Chair under the leadership of Immediate Past Chair Kim Smith. Dr. Dimino is a certified physician executive who currently serves as Medical Director of Operations for Ob Hospitalist Group. She is a member of the board of directors for the Society of OB/GYN Hospitalists where she is also an editor and collaborator for the upcoming core competencies for OB/GYN hospitalists. She serves as a faculty member of the Texas Alliance on Innovation in Maternal Health (AIM) Plus Obstetric Hemorrhage Learning Collaborative to assist Texas hospitals with implementing AIM bundles to improve and standardize patient care during obstetrical emergencies.
She will be joined by new Vice Chair Robyn D’Oria, MA, RN, APN, Secretary Annie Croslow, JD, CPA and Treasurer Todd McLaughlin, who will be renewing his leadership role.
Vice Chair Robyn D’Oria is the Chief Executive Officer of the Central Jersey Family Health Consortium (CJFHC), a non-profit regionalized network of agencies and providers involved in the delivery of perinatal and pediatric services primarily in central New Jersey. D’Oria is also involved nationally in improving patient safety in obstetrics through her involvement in quality improvement initiatives including with the Alliance for Innovation in Maternal Health (AIM), a national quality improvement program of the American College of Obstetrician/Gynecologists (ACOG) aimed at improving patient safety in .
Secretary Annie Croslow is a licensed attorney and active Certified Public Accountant who served as former Deputy Associate Counsel to the President of the United States and before that worked as an associate at Debevoise & Plimpton LLP where she represented clients in internal investigations and in white-collar and regulatory matters before the Securities and Exchange Commission and the Department of Justice.
Treasurer Todd McLaughlin has served on the Foundation’s Board of Directors since 2019. He is the Vice President of Membership and Chapter Engagement the Association of Fundraising Professionals (AFP-Global), the professional association of individuals and organizations that generate philanthropic support for a wide variety of charitable institutions.
