I had my 36 week appointment and everything was fine. A few days later I felt horrible. It was a few days before Christmas and the Office was closed for the holiday. The on call Dr. said I had an appointment in 4 days and we will check things out. 2 days later I was worse. My husband checked my BP and it was so high he didnt believe the reading. So he checked his and it was perfect. Went to the ER. They checked my BP and bloodwork. They told me I wasn't leaving the Hospital without having a baby, and that the baby needed to come out NOW. That i was lucky I didnt have a stroke, or my baby wasn't in much distress.

So 2 hours after arriving at the hospital, I was on the table having an emergency Csection. My 6lb 4oz Weeker was born 18 days early on Christmas eve. Im so glad I didnt listen to the doctor to wait a few days for my appointment, or I probably wouldn't be sharing my story.
