Traumatic Birth For My First Boy but A Healthy Baby

While my blood pressure was high at like 30 weeks, I didn't have pre-eclampsia until 35 weeks. My blood pressure spiked, and they had me come in to be induced. Although it went back down before I got to the hospital, so they sent me home and told me to come back on Sunday to double check that they didn't miss anything, this was on a Friday. When I came back on Sunday, my blood pressure was dangerously high again, so they started induction. By Wednesday morning at 2 am, I had an emergency C-section for failure to progress. By Wednesday, I was 35 weeks 4 days. After the c-section, they whisked my baby away to the NICU, and I went into recovery. Thankfully, my baby only spent 5 days in the NICU. I was released from the hospital on the Sunday after the c-section, and my baby came home on Monday. He's now 2.5 years old, and I'm expecting my second. This time, I have made it to 39 weeks with just random spikes in blood pressure, but no pre-ecalmpsia. I delivered a healthy boy at 39 weeks and am now just trying to survive post partum workout getting pre-ecalmpsia.
