In 2024, I was diagnosed with severe endometriosis which resulted in emergency surgery to remove a cyst on my ovary and fallopian tube. I lost my left ovary and fallopian tube and was left with only one. My provider stated an urgency to try for a baby after being on birth control for a while. After 4 months of being on birth control, and 2 months of trying, my husband and I found out I was pregnant. Because we got pregnant so fast, we kept saying our baby was eager to get here! From the beginning my pregnancy was considered high risk and i developed hypertension and then preeclampsia. I ended up being hospitalized and then spent almost 3 weeks in the hospital before I was induced to have my baby. We kept saying that she couldn't wait to get here and wanted to come early and was eager to start living her life. After laboring for 2 days, they labelled my induction as failed and rushed me into an emergency c-section. After almost 2 hours and me hemorrhaging during delivery, our baby girl was born. Our daughter spent 40 days in the NICU because she was born almost 6 weeks early due to my preeclampsia. Our eager little girl! Luckily we both survived and now are thriving almost a year later. Our little girl is very eager and for being a preemie is hitting her milestones early or on time. Oh, and by the way, we named her Emilia. Which means eager!
