I was advised to take low dose asprin during my pregnancy starting at 12 weeks. I stopped at 34 weeks and started having high blood pressure readings. I went into labour "early" at 36 weeks and delivered. I was constantly monitored and was overseen by an obgyn for delivery. I was in labour for 15 hours before we moved to a c section. Post birth my blood pressure was high and was trated with medication and sent home. I was home for 2 days and had to return due to fluid build up in my lungs. Overall i was on high blood pressure medication for approximately 8 weeks and then was weaned off the medication after birth and migh high blood pressure resolved.
