When I was 39 weeks and 3 days i went to my regular doctors appointment they said my blood pressure was a little elevated and to come back on Friday April 5 which would bring me to 40 weeks. When i got to the doctors they told me to head to the hospital. I got to the hospital and they started the induction process. I got the epidural and I got stuck at 6 cms. After 32 hours of labor my bp started to rise so they said i can keep going or do a C-section . I ended up doing the C-section and they were motoring my bp levels and the nurses said it was fine. I got sent home 2 days later and when i got home i knew something wasn't right. At 2 am i called my best friend to bring me back to the hospital and they knew what was happening. I had to leave my infant baby home with my husband for the first 3 days. I had to be on medication for 3 months and monitor my bp while taking care of an infant. Till this day I get anxiety when i go to the doctors when they take BP.
