When I was 40 weeks and 5 days I was told I needed to be induced, after 26 hours of labor I only made it to 6 cms dilated and my blood pressure kept rising, with hopes of avoiding a c section I tried getting the epidural 3 times, all of which failed. I had my daughter an hour later through an emergency c section. We stayed in the hospital for 5 days after and I was put on medication for 2 months.
