Taylor’s Story

This was my second pregnancy first one I was diagnosed with gestational hypertension and was uncomplicated. At 36 weeks I became ill and went straight to the labor and delivery where they told me my baby girl was tachycardic and my blood pressure was high. I was admitted to the hospital on Friday and Saturday at exactly 12 am I was induced so that technically I was 37 weeks. Labor was great no problems and was discharged Sunday. Starting Wednesday of that week I was feeling very off. I had slight headaches and just feeling extremely fatigued. I shrugged it off until the next Saturday exactly one week after I delivered. I had the worst headache of my life nothing help I couldn’t move think nothing. I went to the closest er my bp was 210/90 the immediately started magnesium and transported me to the L&D that I delivered at. The whole experience was very traumatic. I was at the hospital for 3 days away from my two kids. I’m still in bp medication and am constantly checking myself all day long. I hope that one day I will finally be okay.
